1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Aman mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Aman is a smart bus management platform operating in Oman. The App provides:

Passengers: Bus schedule browsing, seat booking, real-time bus tracking, and trip notifications.
Drivers: Trip management, route navigation, passenger manifests, and assignment tracking.
Administrators: Fleet oversight, driver management, route configuration, and operational analytics.

3. Account Registration

To use the App, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In, then verify your phone number via a one-time verification code (OTP). The OTP is sent via SMS; if SMS delivery fails, it will be sent via WhatsApp as a fallback. Phone verification is required to complete registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate and truthful information during registration, including a valid phone number that you own and can receive SMS or WhatsApp messages on.
Use the App only for its intended purpose of bus transportation management.
Not misuse, disrupt, or interfere with the App's functionality.
Not impersonate other users or create fraudulent bookings.
Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations in Oman.

5. Bookings and Trips

Bookings made through the App are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel or modify trips due to operational requirements, safety concerns, or force majeure events. Users will be notified of any changes through push notifications.

6. Location Services

The App requires access to your device's location to provide core functionality including bus tracking, nearby stop discovery, and route navigation. You can disable location access through your device settings, but this may limit App functionality.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, content, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Aman and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

Aman provides the App on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy of real-time bus tracking data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aman shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Oman.
